The State of Open Data
Histories and Horizons
Taking stock and exploring the issues that will shape the future of open data
About the book
When the original edition of The State of Open Data was published in 2019, it had been ten years since open data first broke onto the global stage. Over the previous decade, thousands of programmes and projects around the world had worked to open data and use it to address a myriad of social and economic challenges. Much more has happened in the five years since, which is why we have launched this new online publication that includes updates to thirty of the original chapters.
